We are once again able to meet for public gatherings.
Our historic church building is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 09.30am and 12 noon for individual prayer, so people can gather for quiet reflection. We hope you will feel free to enjoy this space.
St Andrew's Kinson Church and Church Centre buildings maintain a 'COVID secure' status. Please be assured that we have all the necessary risk assessments in place to open our buildings to the public. A rigorous cleaning regime is carried out across the week, hand sanitiser points have been set up and access to toilets minimised to one user at a time. All our groups have submitted their own risk assessments to ensure we keep our public spaces as safe as possible. We continue to keep our buildings ventilated.
In line with government guidelines and changes to legislation, it is no longer mandatory for you to wear a face covering when you enter any of our buildings. We do still encourage visitors to wear a face covering if that is their wish and for all visitors to respect the decisions made by others around this particular issue.
Please note: During our weekly Eucharist gathering on Sunday morning, we continue to distribute the bread and wine using wafers which are dipped into the common cup. We will continue to review this decision, as we keep an eye on transmission and hospitalisation rates in our local area. We hope to return to using bread and giving people individual access to the common cup just as soon as it seems wise to do so.
Should you have any questions about the measures we have in place, please feel free to contact us at the Parish Office for further information.
