About St Andrew’s
We are so glad you have taken the time to find out more about St Andrew's Church Kinson.
We are an evangelical Anglican church within the Diocese of Salisbury. We're made up of people in all stages of life – babies to retirees – and our community life reflects this variety.
You would be most welcome to join us when we gather as a church family. Sunday @ 9:30am is our largest gathering.
As well as joining us in our historic St Andrew's building, you can also listen to our services online - via the home page on this website, the sermon page, or our Facebook page - St Andrews Kinson . You can also get in contact with us anytime via this website.
St Andrew's is a welcoming community of Christians who look to God through the Bible - God's word - for instruction, and to the Holy Spirit as God’s presence to strengthen and guide us in our service of Jesus. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ affects all areas of our daily life and experience, as we realise with great joy that God has sent his one and only son to die on a cross to bring us forgiveness of our sins, peace with God, and new life. We hope that the output of our faith in Jesus is our love, our service to others and the transformation of people’s lives for Christ in our local area and beyond!
You can read our
Mission and Vision Document here for a sense of who we are and what our priorities are as a church community.
We value our partnerships with
The Salisbury Diocese Evangelical Fellowship,
The Church of England Evangelical Council,
The Evangelical Alliance and
Keswick Ministries.
As a church we are committed to working together locally, regionally, and nationally to pioneer, establish, and secure healthy local Anglican churches. To that end, we affirm the
ReNew Agenda.
Our church is also committed to social justice and practical care of others at home, in our community and around the world. One of the key ways we do this is through the Kinson and West Howe Foodbank which is a ministry that is overseen by the church trustees and run by church members and local community members who volunteer across the week. You can find more information about the Kinson and West Howe Foodbank
